Our worship service starts at 11:00 AM. After some announcements, we will begin our worship service. The bulletin will explain to you what is happening in the service that day. Our services normally consist of Bible reading, singing, prayer, and a 30-to-35-minute sermon based off that morning’s Bible passage. In total, our service lasts about 60-75 minutes.

At River Presbyterian, we believe the worship service is for everyone—including our little kids! Your kids are welcome to participate in the worship service. We are a church plant with several young families with children and so we’re used to the noises of little worshippers! But we also know some parents find it helpful to have a nursery where their youngest kids can be cared for during the service. We offer a nursery for children aged 0-2. The nursery is located downstairs next to the elevator and parents can check their kids in as early as 10:45 AM. Your kids will be cared for by at least two adult female volunteers.  

River Presbyterian meets at 1053 Leonard St. SW, Grand Rapids, MI. We are a mile west of US-131 and a mile north of I-196. We share a space with West Leonard Christian Reformed Church. We also share parking lots on Sunday mornings! This means parking in the two lots behind the church building is limited, but there is additional parking on the side streets or at Hoogerhyde Safe & Lock and the Grand Rapids Public Library next door.
